If we are to pray without ceasing, then how are we to pray?  One disciple went to Jesus immediately after He was praying and asked him, “Lord, teach us to pray, just as John also taught his disciples.” Jesus responded with: 2 And He said to them, “When you pray, say:

‘[b]Father, [c]hallowed be Your name.
[d]Your kingdom come.
3 Give us each day our [e]daily bread.
4 And forgive us our sins,
For we ourselves also forgive everyone who is indebted to us.
And do not lead us into temptation.’”

Not only does Jesus instructs what to say when we pray, but it also may be a model in how we can pray as well.  When we read "Father, Hallowed be Your name" we need to understand what Hallowed means.  Hallowed means: to be separate from profane things, greatly revered, honored, to be free from the guilt of sin.  So when we pray "Father Hallowed be Your name" we are immediately adoring the Lord, giving him reverence and honor.  You are also declaring his holiness and complete separation from any profane things.
